In a sense, all preachers should feel inadequate at times, especially when it concerns living up to the gospel sermons they preach. Sometimes, however, the feeling of inadequacy can be taken to an extreme that causes preachers to make excuses as to why they cannot fulfill their ministries. This article will examine excuses, using Moses as a backdrop, and show we cannot hide behind excuses that hinder the work of God and stunt our personal growth.
